Youth Unlimited employs staff members who are experienced, well-trained and highly-professional in their work with children and their families.  Our employees include a medical doctor, a nurse practitioner, licensed therapists, master’s level clinicians, social workers, case managers, qualified professionals and dedicated residential care counselors.  Each program has a qualified professional who is on-call 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. This comprehensive coverage ensures that professional help and resources are available for each child and family as needed.


Cliff Parker

Executive Director

Cliff Parker began his journey with Youth Unlimited as a houseparent in the Slane House from 1982-1985.  Cliff then took time off from full-time employment at Youth Unlimited to earn his Master’s Degree in Counseling, which he received in 1987, and was licensed in 1991 as a Professional Counselor.  He then worked for a number of years as a therapist and program director in a variety of different inpatient hospitals before returning to Youth Unlimited in 1994 as Executive Director.

Bobby Lindsay

Clinical Director

Bobby joined Youth Unlimited on October 1, 1991 and is the Clinical Operations Director.  He earned a Master Degree in Social Work and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.  Bobby has twenty years of experience working with children and families in the community and is focusing those experiences towards:  staff development, clinical oversight of clients/families, program growth/expansion, and program marketing to the community.

Judy Fradenburg

PQI/Training Director

Judy joined Youth Unlimited in September of 2003, first in the position of Girls’ Residential Program Director.  She has a BA in Psychology from Wake Forest University and a MSW from East Carolina University.  She became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker on October 1, 2010.  Before coming to Youth Unlimited, Judy worked for 6 years as a foster care social worker for the Department of Social Services.  Since July 2008, she has been serving as Youth Unlimited’s PQI, Training and Client Care Director as well as the Smith Home program director.

Dr. Kim Dansie

Medical Director

Dr. Dansie is the medical Director and joined Youth Unlimited in 2008. She has an MD from Wake Forest Medical School and completed her residency and fellowship at NC Baptist Hospital. She is board certified in Adult, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.  She has over 20 years of experience treating children and adolescents in the Triad community.

Bethany Rice

Therapeutic Foster Care Program Director

Bethany joined Youth Unlimited in April of 2010.  She holds a Joint Masters in Social Work from North Carolina Agriculture and Technology State University and University of North Carolina at Greensboro and is currently working towards a License in Clinical Social Work. She has five years of experience working with children and families in the community and is focusing those experiences toward enhancing and expanding our Therapeutic Foster Care Program.

David Shobe

Intensive In-home Team Leader

David joined Youth Unlimited in November of 2003.  He received his Masters in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. David currently is a Liscensed Professional Counselor-Associate.  He has 18  years of experience working with youth and their families.  David enjoys and excels in  working as a Team Leader for our Guilford County Intensive In-home Team.

Wanda Martin

Maternity Home Manager

Wanda originally came into the Youth Unlimited family when she and her husband became licensed Therapeutic Foster Parents with Youth Unlimited in 2002.  In 2009, Wanda was approached by Youth Unlimited staff to become the Home Manager for the Smith Maternity Home due to her experience working with adolescents and infants in her own home.  Wanda then made the transition to full-time staff.

Debbie Milan

Outpatient Therapist

Debbie joined YUI in September 2009.  She graduated in 2000 from Liberty University with a Master’s Degree in Counseling.  In 2001, Debbie became a Licensed Professional Counselor in NC.  She has over 15 years experience working with children, adults and families. Debbie provides individual, family and group outpatient therapy for children, families and parents from our group homes, Randolph County schools and others in the community.  Additionally, Debbie assists our Intensive In-Home teams with comprehensive clinical assessments and coordinating treatment.

Vivian Thomas

Administrative Assistant

Vivian started with Youth Unlimited in 1968 as a volunteer at their first program – a storefront ministry in downtown High Point.  She was hired in 1974 to assist her husband, Larry Thomas, in opening the Slane Home for Boys where she also worked as a houseparent.  In 1988 she began her current position as Administrative Assistant at the High Point Office.

Jane Hoonhout

Nurse Practitioner

Jane joined Youth Unlimited in March 2011, launching the Youth Unlimited Behavorial Health Clinic. She obtained her Master's Degree in Nursing at the University of South Alabama and is a licensed Nurse Practicioner, certified in Family Psychiatric-Mental Health. She serves our community from two office locations, Sophia and High Point, providing psychiatric assessments and medication management to individuals across the lifespan.
