2010/2011 Year In Review

 

YEAR IN REVIEW 

  •      During the year 2010 - 2011 much of our focus at Youth Unlimited has been on the improvement of our clinical skills.
  •  We have completed all requirements for our COA re-accreditation which will be in effect through November of 2014.
  •  One staff member has earned Licensed Clinical Social Worker licensure and two staff members have earned their  Licensed Professional Counselor  licensure.
  • Our Med Management Clinic has expanded and currently serves families in our High Point Office as well as the office in Sophia.  We have also hired a Family Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for the clinic.  Jane E. Hoonhout, APRN, PMHNP, works under the supervision of Dr. Kim Dansie who serves as our Medical Director.
  • Over the last year Outpatient Therapy  Services and our Parent Support Group have grown in participation.

 

 

PROGRAM   OUTCOMES

     Foster Care

·         28 foster children served – 14 in Therapeutic Foster Care and 14 in Family Foster Care

·         28 individuals have attended MAPP Classes (required for foster parent licensure)

·         3 new foster homes were licensed

    Residential Care

·         18 of 23 discharged clients demonstrated improvement in CAFAS scores

·         23 of 23 discharged clients demonstrated improved  academic progress

·         20 of 23 discharged clients demonstrated improvement in behavior

    Outpatient Therapy   

·         12 of 15 discharged clients demonstrated improvement in CAFAS scores

·         12 of 15 discharged clients reached 50% or more of their treatment goals

    Intensive In-Home Services  

·         25 of 34 discharged clients demonstrated improvement in CAFAS scores

·         22 of 34 discharged clients reached 50% or more of their treatment goals

·         15 of 34 discharged clients reached 100% of their treatment goals

    Day Treatment

·         100% demonstrated improved academic progress

·         100% reached 100% of their treatment goals

    Client Satisfaction

·         96% positive client/family responses across all programs

          94% positive responses from community at large
